I can't say enough about how good this companies customer service is way after your pool or job is complete. The owner Bob came to my rescue when I couldn't get the dead algae off the bottom of my pool. I tried everything and called everyone. Bob came no questions asked the same day to help me take care of the problem and clean my filter. I offered to pay but he refused to accept payment for helping. I've had my pool three years and have had no problems with it. It's a gorgeous pool and it was completed on time and to my specs. I have very high standards. I was very pleased. These are before and after pictures of my algae problem which is a thing of the past. Thanks Bob. Your the best.

Bob Gibbins was referred to us by neighbors on NextDoor for our pool renovation needs. Our existing pool tiles were coming off, the concrete deck needed to be cleaned/resealed, and our pool plaster was questionable. We called several pool companies and ultimately decided on Bob because he gave us an affordable estimate, itemizing everything we wanted to have done. Bob even told us we had a few more seasons before needing to replace the plaster entirely so we decided to hold off on this part of our project to ease the cost. Communication is great and he gets back to you pretty quickly. Contractors were great, too, and they did a impressive job installing our tile and cleaning up once the project was completed. We highly recommend Bob and will use him again in the future for our pool and home renovation needs!

Bob and his crew helped us remodel our home combining several small rooms (kitchen, living room, dining room) to open concept. They removed walls, moved and added support beams, worked with the structural engineer, moved windows, installed new flooring (and blended it in seamlessly to our existing flooring), installed drywall, painted... when it was done, it looked exactly like the designs!

All throughout, they made suggestions that improved our plans, made things more structurally sound, and/or were more cost effective. We lived in our home during construction and they made it as painless as possible. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. We'll definitely be using Sunset Company again!

Update: Recently, we hired Sunset company to completely renovate my dad's 50 yo home to sell. Structural changes, new flooring, major kitchen and bathroom changes, landscaping... the house went from dated, barely functional, and overgrown to stunning. It looks amazing and I'm sure we'll get top dollar.

The pool at our place was working fine for many years without any big service or repair. We only had some regular maintenance for normal wear 'n' tear. But knew that the pool needed a one-time in-depth repair.

We called Bob at Sunset Company to get an estimate for our pool repair service.  He was extremely courteous and professional, and he knew what he was talking about.  He understood all of our pool issue, as it required new decking, repair of the tiling and more.

Very quickly he gave an accurate estimate which was also quite reasonable. We called other companies after him to get a second opinion and nobody could beat his price.

We then decided on a convenient date for us for repair. They came on time and started the repair in no time. They made sure they were always ahead of schedule. And at last finished the job too ahead of schedule.

The work done by them is absolutely great and it has been months since the repair but the pool is still in top notch condition. We have used Bob Gibbins and his Sunset Company for over 15 years for various constructing projects from replastering our swimming pool, to Flooring, Cabinets, Countertops, Bathrooms and Kitchen remodels.  I can confidently state that Bob is an honest and hardworking contractor that is very hard to find in today's environment.  I trust the advise he provides even if I disagree with him I know he's always looking out for my best interest.  We are scheduling time with Bob over the next few months to extend our driveway and update our electrical panel to code.  Bob is always our first choice in construction projects for our house and swimming pool, I highly recommend him and his company.
